Ongoing road and port infrastructure investments in the region of Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot, also known as Tricity or Trójmiasto in Polish, are expected to contribute to the further development of the commercial warehouse market.
According to a recent report from Jones Lang LaSalle consultants, Trójmiasto has warehouse storage of around 128,200 m², this storage area will be expanded by a large distribution centre planned for the northern port as well as ProLogis Park near to the airport, a warehouse and light industrial area expected to total 90,000 m². The sizeable container port in Gdansk is expected to encourage further development of the commercial warehouse market in the future.
